Volunteer Sign-Up is Now Open!

Be part of the 30th Annual Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival! Volunteer registration is officially open, and we’re excited to welcome you to the team that helps bring this beloved community celebration to life.

This year’s theme, “Aquí estamos y no nos vamos” (Here we are, and here we stay), reflects the resilience, unity, and cultural pride that make this festival so special. As a volunteer, you’ll play an important role in keeping the festival footprint vibrant and welcoming for thousands of visitors.

All volunteers receive a Día de los Muertos Festival T-Shirt, lunch provided, healthy snacks & water throughout the day.

**You must be 14 years and older to volunteer.**

  • VOLUNTEER WITH A GROUP! We are offering various volunteer opportunities to connect with the community. Are you a part of a school or employee group? Groups are welcomed to participate!
