Behind every altar is a story of love, remembrance, and tradition. Meet the talented altar artists bringing the 31st Annual Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival to life through their creativity, cultural traditions, and heartfelt tributes to those who came before us.

This year’s theme, “La Lucha Continúa – Aquí Estamos y No Nos Vamos,” reminds us of the strength of our roots, the resilience of our communities, and the importance of keeping our ancestors’ stories alive.
