Be Part of the 30th Anniversary of Oakland’s Día de los Muertos Festival!

Vendor Applications Now Open

The Unity Council’s Oakland Día de los Muertos Annual Festival is a free, outdoor celebration that brings over 100,000 people to the vibrant, culturally rich Fruitvale neighborhood to enjoy world-class live music, family-friendly games, rides and activities, traditional Latin American artisans, and breathtaking altar installations created by community members in honor of los Muertos. The festival was proudly inducted into the U.S. Library of Congress by Congresswoman Barbara Lee as a “Local Legacy.”

This is a tremendous opportunity to connect with a diverse and engaged audience seeking unique crafts, gifts, and cultural experiences. Thousands of families attend each year, eager to support local businesses and celebrate cultura with their community.

We’re thrilled to be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival this year—on Sunday, November 2, 2025! As one of the largest cultural events in Oakland, the festival brings together artists, performers, vendors, and community members in a joyful celebration of life and remembrance.
